Description

Though it has suffered from a long period of neglect in education, teaching
cursive in the elementary years and even to your older children has
been shown to be beneficial, including those  with learning disabilities
and dyslexia. The art of cursive writing can be taught by simply
incorporating basic strokes in drawing, art projects, history, and
copy work.

This workshop will be presented by Sheri Yengst, homeschool mom, Certified Cursive Coach with New American Cursive, and in her life before kids — MBA and college professor.  Sheri wants to empower families and students to bring back the art of cursive handwriting.

Workshop will be held at Tools for the Home Educator, 18051 Crenshaw Blvd., Suite G (2nd floor), Torrance, CA  90504.  Limited seating; pre-registration required.

Workshop fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person if you  are unable to attend.

Nursing babies only, please!  Due to our small space, please make other arrangements for your children.
